Mike Helt – Setting for Open/Pro Finals

Mike has over 20 years of routesetting experience. He’s a USA Climbing Level 5 National Chief Routesetter with setting experience that ranges from locals to international World Cups. He recently sat on the USAC Routesetting Committee, which created USAC’s routesetter clinic and certification system. Mike also is Founder and Chief Editor at Climbing Business Journal.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Joey Jannsen – Setting for Open/Pro Finals

Joey has been setting for youth and adult competitions for nearly a decade. He has also been the head setter at the Bend Rock Gym for the last two years, where he leads the setting crew through the weekly commercial setting as well as the annual Boulder Bash season. In addition to the weekly grind, Joey travels to set at USA Climbing competitions including Bouldering and Sport Youth Nationals and multiple Divisional and Regional Championhsips, two Setter Showdowns and numerous local competitions as a guest setter.. He likes beer and enjoys spending time with his cat, Gordon.
